Cnocession

A sample of funeral typography

Cnocession is an alphabet inspired by the cemetery of Castillon-la-Bataille (Gironde, France). 26 initials + 1 ampersand retranscribing the typographical atmosphere of that place. Cnocession was created for an exhibition of Fanny Garcia and Jack Usine, at the Zirkumflex gallery in Berlin, May 2010. An eponymous edition was also edited by Zirkumflex.
